The Girl Scout Promise

In English:

On my honor, I will try:

To serve God* and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law

* The word "God" can be interpreted in a number of ways, depending on one's spiritual beliefs. When reciting the Girl Scout Promise, it is okay to replace the word "God" with whatever word your spiritual beliefs dictate.

What Girl Scouts Do

Girl Scouting is for YOU and every girl, everywhere! Girl Scouts of today become leaders of tomorrow. Lead the life you always imagined! In Girl Scouts, you get to  choose your own adventure as you develop your leadership skills, earn badges, hike, camp, sell cookies, and much more. Improve your neighborhood, protect the planet, or design a robot. It is up to you!

Girl Scouts are divided into age levels and open to girls K-12. Have fun with girls your age, as you explore what you can do as a Girl Scout! Start your adventure with a Journey of your choice and then add badges for more fun, tradition, and history. Along they way, you'll earn awards and take on projects that change the world!

Become a Girl Scout! You can join in the fun in many ways. Join a troop in your neighborhood, create one with your family, and invite your friends, go to camp or events, travel the world, or join an interest group with girls that share your passion.
